Hidden talent @ PLoS

We have some extraordinary people working at PLoS, one of them is Carolyn Baker. An assistant production cordinator by day and by night (and at the weekends) she is a talented artist – infact we’re lucky enough to have two such folks at PLoS.  Here’s why she enjoys this creative outlet, in her own words:

I joined the PLoS ONE team a little over a year ago as an Assistant Production Coordinator, but in my free time, I love to paint and draw. I aspire to create artwork that makes people smile. I’m excited to have a piece of my work posted on everyone.plos.org. I hope you enjoy!

We asked Carolyn if she could come up with a nice visual to sum up the before and after effect of our new email table of contents alerts, which now have subject headings for easier navigation and author names. Here’s what she drew:

We hope that you agree she is one talented team member. We look forward to more contributions from her and others at PLoS soon.
